How many systems has MRIaudio installed?

Since 2010 we've installed more than 7,000 systems, in more than 1,200 facilities.

Does the system cause noise or artifacts?

It's designed from the ground up not to: every part made for the MRI environment, proven in third-party testing and reviewed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

What is the noise reduction rating?

Tested by an ISO 17025 laboratory, the over-ear and in-ear headphones both give 29 decibels of hearing protection, meeting the OSHA requirement for sustained loud noise.

Do MRI headphones fit inside a head coil?

Standard over-ear headphones often don't fit inside an MRI head coil. CoilFit headphones have a slim profile that fits most MRI head coils, and the in-ear headset fits head and spine coils, so patients having head and neck imaging can still listen to music with hearing protection. Yes. The FDA treats MRI sound systems as medical devices; the MRIaudio system was tested and cleared as a Class II medical device.

Does MRIaudio carry liability insurance?

Yes, a $3 million liability insurance policy.

How do you clean the system?

Only the headphones touch the patient; clean them with your usual sanitising products. Use single-use ear tips and cloth covers for every patient.

How do I reorder ear tips and covers?

What's the return policy?
