A peer-reviewed study in Pediatric Radiology covering more than 700 pediatric MRI referrals found that audiovisual distraction with the MRIaudio video display cut sedation rates by 28.8 percentage points while every awake scan produced diagnostic-quality images. 96% of studies finished on time, 96% of children rated the experience easy or medium, and 90% of caregivers reported being satisfied.
